Our film will be called Odyne, this was a decision made almost instantly by the group after deciding the main story line and plot that will capture our target audience. We decided on this title because that is the name of the main character in our film. She is both the protagonist and antagonist and the character that takes the audience on the biggest journey; from nearly being killed by her brother, to helping a large number of criminals escape from prison to become her personalised army. Having an eponymous film title means the the main character is the focal point of the film, which translates to the audience. We researched many Greek Goddess names but settled on Odyne due to the name meaning 'Goddess of Pain'. We thought this was suitable for the character due to the foreboding undertone the name has. She will live up to her name in our film as she can produce fire.
Good, but it would be interesting to add here that you researched Godesses' names and decided on Odyne- why this Godess?
